How can we help?
Got a question about DailyWalks? Start with the answers below.
Frequently asked questions
- How does DailyWalks track my steps?
- DailyWalks reads your step count from Apple Health. Just make sure you've given it permission to access your Health data in Settings > Health > DailyWalks.
- My step count isn't showing up. What should I do?
- Head to Settings > Health > DailyWalks and check that step count access is turned on. If it already is, try switching it off and on again, then reopen the app.
- Can I change my daily step goal?
- Yes. You can update your goal right in the app. To avoid accidental changes, you can only change it once a day.
- How do I export my walking history?
- Open the Overview tab and tap the export option. Your history is saved as a CSV file and shared through the usual iOS share sheet.
- How do I delete all my data?
- In the app, go to the Settings tab and tap “Delete All Data.” That permanently clears your profile, walking history, and settings from your device.
- Does DailyWalks collect or share my data?
- Nope. Everything stays on your device. DailyWalks never makes a network request and doesn't collect, send, or share any of your data. You can read the full Privacy Policy for the details.
- Does DailyWalks work without an internet connection?
- Yes. DailyWalks works completely offline, so it doesn't need an internet connection at all.
